GENERAL INFORMATION: The Cenacle Retreat & Conference Center is located in the heart of the Lincoln Park area in the north central part of Chicago. It’s totally accessible by public transportation from the bus and train stations and the airport. The meeting begins Thursday with dinner and ends with lunch on Sunday. The pricing options include staying from Thursday dinner or Friday dinner. Indicate your choice on the registration form. It is preferable if you can come on Thursday and fully participate in all programs and meetings. If you have agenda items, please notify the Steering Committee clerk at <richard@population-matters.org>  or 970/884-7148 by March 20, 2010 (first day of Spring!!!).

ARRIVAL TIME: Registration begins after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Continuing Counsel Committee will meet at 2:30 p.m.

COST & ACCOMMODATIONS: Room and board costs vary according to the number of people in a room (a double or a single) and how long you stay. The registration fee covers the costs to prepare for the meeting and for purchasing carbon offsets for our travel and meeting time. To be in a room by yourself you will pay extra. Commuters pay a fee per day which includes meals. There is no option for other than 3 meals a day. (See the enclosed registration form for prices.) Bedding and towels are provided for everyone staying in a room and the cost is included in your fees. Bring your own toiletries. There are no other housing options. There are some limited travel funds available to help Steering Committee members. Please ask for a form from the office.

By Air: You can book to O’Hare International Airport or Midway Airport.

NOTE: There is public transportation available from the airport, train station, and bus station. That information will be included with the confirmation packet.
