January 29, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Join Daren Caughron, FCNL’s Legislative Manager for Sustainable Energy and Environment, for an in-depth discussion on the challenges and opportunities in advancing climate justice in both the international and U.S. legislative arenas. Drawing from his on-the-ground experience at COP29 in Baku and his work mobilizing faith-based advocacy, Daren will share insights into navigating the complexities of the COP process, combating the erosion of democracy, and identifying leverage points for transformative action.
This timely talk will illuminate how we can hold governments accountable, leverage grassroots power, and chart a hopeful path forward in the face of adversity. Whether addressing the need for robust international climate finance or mobilizing local communities to meet with Congress, Daren’s message is clear: the time to act is now, and together we can build a sustainable and just future.
