January 15, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Summary:
In a time of political upheaval and escalating challenges, Daniel Hunter offers a timely and urgent call to action. As communities grapple with the realities of Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, Daniel will guide us in exploring how to organize powerfully, build resilience, and take bold action. Prior to and following the November 2024 election, Daniel’s writings were shared broadly, including his 10 Ways to Be Prepared and Grounded which has helped campaigners prep, both inwardly and outwardly, for the challenges ahead. This talk focuses on the critical role of grassroots movements in addressing systemic inequities and fostering collective strength, offering tools to stay grounded and prepared for the work ahead.

Drawing from his works, Climate Resistance Handbook, and Strategy and Soul, Daniel shares lessons from decades of successful organizing—stopping billion-dollar projects, fighting for environmental justice, and supporting marginalized communities. He’ll delve into actionable strategies for sustaining movements and creating long-lasting change, emphasizing the power of nonviolent direct action and collective empowerment. This event is for anyone who believes in the necessity of bold, ethical leadership and transformative action in uncertain times.
